Boston Welcomes the 2025 IBSC Conference
Copper Hound Pictures is proud to have created the below hype video, and are thrilled to spotlight Belmont Hill and Boston in 2025
Our Copper Hound Pictures team proudly produced a hype video for the 2025 IBSC Conference in Boston, MA.
Over 30 years ago, the IBSC began its mission to develop and advance boys' education globally, with its inaugural conference at Belmont Hill, just outside Boston.
In 2025, Belmont Hill will once again host this prestigious event. Our Copper Hound Pictures video, featuring Belmont Hill students and iconic Boston visuals, was officially unveiled at the 2024 Conference at Harrow School in England this past June.
We are excited about our contribution and thrilled to see Belmont Hill take center stage once more.

In the Spring of 2025, we are honored to welcome you back to Boston… and to the campus of Belmont Hill.
It was here, just over 30 years ago, and only a few miles from the birthplace of the American Revolution, where the first gathering of around 100 boys’ schools educators took place. A group of school leaders met on our chapel lawn to share their concern for the future of boys’ education. They knew, as we still know today, that there could be power in partnership. They understood the value of boys’ education; to shape character, to mold leadership, to teach the next generation of young men. They dream of boys who would not merely excel, but would engage with their academics, of course, but also with their community and with each other.
These discussions led to a formal establishment of the International Boys’ Schools Coalition. And a recognition that by working together, we are even stronger. And from those beginnings, we understood that we’d go forward in unison committed to the evolution of our ideas, of our approaches, and of who we are.
With this in mind, we are so proud to host you at our cherished campus, and our vibrant city. Boston has earned its association, not just with revolution, but also with evolution. Our city lives simultaneously in two times, as the birthplace of our nation and as the seedbed of the future of healthcare, biotechnology, and education.
Just a few steps from the cobblestone streets of Beacon Hill, cutting edge medicine is being practiced at the best hospitals in the country. A short T ride from the fabled Fenway Park can put you into a world of contemporary, classical, and performance art. Students at the 35+ institutions of higher education, including Harvard, MIT, BU, Northeastern, Tufts, and BC commute to their internships editing DNA, helping solve the climate crisis, or advancing cancer therapies.
We encourage you, while you are here in Boston, to find what version of the city speaks to you. The history of the freedom trail, of old north church, or the electricity of the seaport, the trendsetting restaurants, the up-and-coming musicians.
You’ll also visit our beautiful campus here at Belmont Hill. Set only 8 miles from downtown, our school serves roughly 465 boys in grades 7th through 12th from over 80 surrounding communities.
We’re proud of the traditions that define us. A teacher-coach model, family style lunches, daily breaks for milk and cookies with friends, and a panel carved by each graduating student permanently displayed on campus to serve as a lasting legacy. A small five-day boarding program broadens our school’s reach, and our deep commitment to access allows for a truly diverse community in so many ways. Having celebrated our centennial in the fall of 2023, our community is primed with an appreciation for tradition as well as a relentless desire to become a better version of ourselves.
At Belmont Hill, we believe that boys’ education can change lives. Here boys are encouraged to explore their own interests, develop their unique identities, to be scholars, and artists, and athletes. To hold, just as Boston does, several true versions of themselves at once. And we do so embracing the laughter, joy, and positive energy that is infused into everything we do. We are confident that when boys graduate this foundation of empowerment and self-discovery will enable all Belmont Hill boys to lead inspirational lives in whatever arena they choose.
We know that we are not alone in this conviction. We believe, just as we did three decades ago, that we are part of an IBSC community that shares our values. We look forward to welcoming you to Belmont Hill, to evolve together, to celebrate how far we have come, and to look collectively forward to the future of boys’ education.
Through a combination of speakers, presentations, conversations, and good cheer, we have one essential goal for all of our guests. When the time comes to leave both Boston and Belmont Hill, we trust that all will agree that our boys, our teachers, our schools, and our coalition have always been and will always be: Better Together.
