iRobot. So you can human.
iRobot recently released the j7 Roomba, a robot vacuum that cleans the floor in an intelligent, seamless manner so that people have more time and energy to do more fulfilling life activities. The j7 Roomba Robot Vacuum understands that being human can be messy, and that human beings should be able to pursue their passions, hobbies, and curiosities rather than cleaning the house all day.
The team at Motiv Design called in Copper Hound Pictures to help iRobot tell their story and bring their brand refresh vision to life through video, which will be featured in iRobot’s brand stores, pages, and social channels. Copper Hound Pictures shot over the course of two days, capturing interviews with key players—from lead designers and engineers to product managers—long-form product videos, and extensive B-roll. As a part of the process, Copper Hound had the pleasure of touring iRobot’s state-of-the-art engineering labs, modern facilities, and communal workspaces. All of the footage was shot at iRobot’s stunning HQ office in Bedford, MA.
The goal of the shoot was to create something inspirational that gives a deeper background and understanding of iRobot’s j7 product, its new design, why it was created, and the ultimate benefits to the consumer. Through a combination of product focused video and interview style narratives with the team that created the j7, Copper Hound helped position iRobot as the leader in robotic floorcare and give audiences insight into the company’s mission while maintaining a unique and authentic brand voice.
